We are currently permitted to host group classes (via Zoom) or private one on one classes (via Zoom or in person).

We highly recommend taking a childbirth preparation class to educate you on the physiology of birth, the medical options available in Manitoba, and some tips for how to have a positive birth and early postnatal experience.

We offer a variety of classes for before and after baby’s arrival, applicable for both first time and repeat parents.

Prenatal Preparation Weekly Series

This 5 week series features a different instructor each week, focusing on the topic they specialize in. We are so pleased to be teaching in a “village” format as that is what we believe in – community.

  • Week 1 – The Big Day
  • Week 2 – Brain Training & Mindfulness for Birth and Beyond
  • Week 3 – Breastfeeding Essentials
  • Week 4 – Bringing Baby Home
  • Week 5 – Embracing & Planning for your Transition to Parenthood

Each of these classes can also be taken separately, “a la carte” style.

Week 1 – The Big Day

Week 2 – Brain Training & Mindfulness for Birth and Beyond

Learn the “why” and “how” of Brain Training and Mindfulness.

How to use those techniques and optimize the Hormones of Pregnancy, Birth and the Postnatal period in a positive way. Worksheets, Affirmations, Switch Cues and more, all designed to promote a calm, satisfying birth experience and transition into parenthood, on your terms.

Week 3 – Breastfeeding Essentials

Some Topics include:

  • Achieving an optimal Latch
  • How to know Baby is getting enough Milk
  • Ways Partners can Help Best
  • Knowing when to recognize that you Need extra Help
  • Where to get Extra Help with Feeding

Time will be made for individual questions as well.
